Book Distribution in New England

Please accept my obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada. I first started distributing Srila Prabhurada's books in 1973 going out from NV to Pittsburgh, and then in 1974, I became part of a travelling women's sankirtana party distributing His Divine Grace's Books in many airports, fairs, downtowns, etc. By the early 80's, I was having a young family, and was going to the Honolulu airport daily. One of the fondest memories I have of that time period was the Christmas marathon of 1983, when I took a newborn in a front back, an 18 month old in a backpack, and a 3 year old in a wagon, (who had just had 2 open-heart surgeries), out to the Ala Moana shopping center with books. Almost everyone I met took a book from the children!
I resumed my book distribution activities full time in the middle nineties, mostly in New England, in and around Boston, South Station, and at rest areas in Maiine, N.H., and Vermont, ski resorts, post offices, plazas, etc.
Distributing Srila Prabhupada's books has always been a serious endeavor for me. I feel very badly for the people I meet, that tell me their life stories, and are suffering so much without transcendental knowlege. I can see the hope that giving them a book creates in their eyes, and I witnessed what distributing Srila Prabhupada's books meant to Him. It is always very important to me that I represent Him with integrity and dignity. I hope I can continue this for a few more decades.
